They also provide a relocation assistance package and pay expenses during the interview process. We are searching for an experienced mechanical inspector. Interested candidates will need a minimum of 5 years of experience measuring and inspecting close tolerance machined components. This position requires good documentation skills. Knowledge of Gd&T and experience using a variety of measuring tools and inspection equipment. Past experience using gauges, hand tools, CMM, optical comparators and other measuring equipment is needed. Candidates with CMM coordinate measuring machine programming are preferred, but not required. The mechanical inspector will perform quality inspections on machined components to ensure dimensions and critical features. Experience conducting first article, in process and final inspections is required. Interested candidates must have work experience in a close tolerance machining environment. Either medical device or aerospace type work experience is preferred. Knowledge of ISO-9000, ISO-13485 and/or FDA standards is a plus. Previous gage R&R, SPC, gage calibration and document control experience is also a plus. MUST HAVE: 5 plus years working as a quality / mechanical inspector in a close tolerance machining environment. Previous experience using a wide variety of measuring hand tools, gages and inspection equipment is a requirement. The ability to read prints and knowledge of Gd&T is also required.
