Swiss CNC Programmer

We are searching for a Swiss CNC Programmer to process
new components prior to production. The Swiss CNC
Programmer will work from our client’s engineering office
to develop innovative machining solutions. Knowledge of
swiss CNC lathes such as Star, Citizen, Tsugami, Hanwha,
Nexturn, Tornos Deco and/or other brands of swiss lathes
is required. The Swiss CNC Programmer will work from a
print or solid model, select machinery, calculate cycle
times, select/purchase tooling, specify collets, guide
bushings, machine attachments, develop the process,
generate CNC code and prove out the process. Past
experience using Partmaker or Esprit cam software is a
plus, but not required. Interested candidates must be
willing to learn cam software, fully paid by the company.
We are looking for candidates who came up the ranks
gaining swiss CNC lathe programming and process
development skills. Knowledge of feeds, speeds, cutting
tool applications, shop math and good computer skills is
required. Strong communication skills with the ability
to work with manufacturing engineers, skilled machinists
and tooling vendors is a must.
MUST HAVE: a minimum of 5 years of experience
processing, tooling and programing swiss CNC lathes.
Interested candidates will need manual CNC programming or
experience using cam software to generate code.
Knowledge of and ability to select cutting tools is
